What is the class environment like?

The environment is like your any old classroom, but more high tech, more streamlined, and much for fun. The classes are small, providing a lot more opportunities to those who might need help understand just what this or that program is doing with that file. CACC is also quite friendly, most of the teachers will be happy to lend a hand in there specialized subjects for the purpose of learning. Classes range from less then eight to a maximum of twelve. This ensures small class sizes in a hectic coding environment. CACC is a formal place, but dressing up is common place. Such things as BPA and field trips to perspective work location require at least a suit or dress. Other then that, just old cloths are required to enter the building (and public for that matter) and learn.
Here's an Overview of the environment

  • Class is two hours and forty Minutes, or 8:00-10:40 and 11:35-2:15.
  • Every student has his or her own computer
  • Computers are provided, being usually one year old with gaming video cards for designing game characters, terrain, sky, mountains, and playing the games that students create.
  • 100% of student time is on computers and computer skills.
  • And Individualized learning aimed at optimizing each students potential.

Code! Thats hard, right?

It's hard, but it's only hard at the beginning. It's like a hill, hard to get up, but once up; you get to ride down it easily. This is like programming, you must learn it, and then learn what you're writing, learn the processes that go on, and then implement it into a program or web page correctly. This seems like a lot, but once you've made a few programs and get it explained to you in simpler terms, it's much easier.
